Consultation with a doctor is by appointment. Appointments can be booked online through HotDoc or by calling our friendly reception team on 03 9428 4148. A standard consultation duration is 15 minutes. If you have multiple issues to discuss, please let reception know so that a longer consultation can be booked for you. Double appointments are required for new patients.

Feedback and Complaints
We value patient feedback and would welcome you taking the time to let us know what we’re doing well and where we can improve. Please feel free to speak to our reception staff. Alternatively, feedback can be provided in writing.
Communication
Phone: Our phones are staffed from 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Email: While we occasionally use email to send or receive docvvuments, this is not our preferred method of communication. If you wish to send something to the practice via email, please contact reception to discuss.

About
The Practice
Richmond Hill Medical Centre has been providing comprehensive and personalised care to individuals and families in the local area since it was founded in 1981.
Working closely with specialists and other allied health professionals, our small team of experienced GPs are renowned for their empathetic and thorough care of our patients’ health needs.
About Our GPs
Dr Richard Wright
Richard is the principal of our practice with over 40 years’ experience in general medicine. An avid learner, Richard has undertaken a science degree with a major in psychology, holds postgraduate qualifications in Sports and Travel Medicine, has a diploma in sexual health and is an HIV Prescriber.
Dr Jill Spargo
Jill loves every aspect of General Practice and brings a wealth of experience as a clinician. Having worked at the clinic since 1983, Jill prides herself in providing holistic care to her patients.
Dr Marina Malcolm
Marina has worked at the clinic since 2007 and considers herself a true generalist. As well as working at the clinic, Marina is the Co-Deputy Chair of the RACGP Victoria Council and Co-Chair of the Women in General Practice Council.
Dr Costa Vakalopoulos
Costa has worked at Richmond Hill Medical Centre since 2006. Being fluent in several languages, Costa is passionate about the provision of high-quality care and has experience in minor surgical procedures.
